Motee User Agreement

Motee is operated by 邵东市默毅文化传媒有限公司. Please read this Agreement and the Motee Privacy Policy before registering, signing in, or using the app. By actively selecting agreement and continuing, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

1. Services

Motee provides image capture, import, editing, and preview; NFC or Bluetooth discovery, connection, and image transfer for compatible color E-Ink cases and accessories; local creation, cloud galleries, online materials, AI creation, accounts, messages, feedback, and firmware support. A feature may require an account, network, permission, or compatible accessory. Availability is determined by the current version and its interface.

2. Accounts and security

You may sign in using the methods actually offered, including Sign in with Apple, phone, email, or account password. Provide lawful, valid information and protect passwords, verification codes, and signed-in devices. Do not rent, sell, or allow improper use of an account. Contact support promptly if you identify abnormal activity.

You may request account closure in the app. The process, cooling-off period, and data handling are described in the Privacy Policy and Account and Data Deletion page.

3. Accessories and hardware

Motee-branded hardware is manufactured by 广东志慧芯屏科技有限公司. Follow product instructions and do not tamper with firmware, bypass safety restrictions, interfere with radio communications, or use an accessory unlawfully.

Connection distance, transfer time, colors, and results may vary with accessory model, firmware, iPhone/iOS version, NFC/Bluetooth environment, and permissions. An on-screen preview is not an absolute guarantee of the physical display result.

4. Images and user content

You are responsible for content that you capture, import, edit, transfer, save, or publish and must hold the necessary rights. Do not process or distribute unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, malicious, or service-disrupting content.

You retain applicable rights in your lawful creations. Only when you choose to upload content do you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, transform, display, deliver, and review it to the extent needed to provide that feature. Ownership is not transferred.

The current Motee iOS review build does not provide community publishing. If public posting or comments are offered in a future build, applicable community rules and in-app reporting, blocking, and content-management tools will be provided before use.

5. AI creation

AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or similar to other content. We do not promise that an output meets your expectations, is exclusive, is automatically protected by intellectual-property rights, or is suitable for a particular commercial use.

You must have the rights to prompts and reference images, must not upload an unauthorized portrait, private information, or protected work, and must review output before publishing, commercial use, or transfer. We may apply content-safety checks and refuse unlawful or infringing requests. The Motee AI Service Terms provide more detail.

6. Digital benefits and Apple in-app purchase

Only if the app clearly presents a purchase interface will points, memberships, or other digital benefits be sold using Apple StoreKit. Product, price, period, and benefits are shown in Motee and the Apple confirmation sheet. Apple processes payment; refunds and payment disputes follow Apple's rules. You must not forge receipts, exploit a defect, or claim benefits repeatedly.

Closing a Motee account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription. If a subscription has been offered to you, manage it separately under Apple ID > Subscriptions.

7. Notifications and service changes

With permission, we may send account-security, support, accessory, or important service messages. You can disable notifications in Motee or iOS Settings.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue a feature for updates, maintenance, security, compatibility, or legal requirements and will provide reasonable notice where practicable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

8. Intellectual property

Rights in Motee software, interfaces, icons, code, marks, service names, official materials, and related content belong to the applicable owner. Except where law allows, you may not copy, crack, reverse engineer, maliciously modify, distribute, or commercially exploit them without permission. Third-party fonts, materials, open-source components, and system services remain subject to their own licenses.

9. Responsibility

For interruption or differences caused by force majeure, carrier networks, Apple or cloud providers, hardware faults, permissions, incompatibility, or user error, responsibility is limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this Agreement excludes a mandatory consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Children

Motee is not primarily directed to children. A child must use it with a parent or guardian's consent and guidance and must not independently purchase digital items or submit personal information.

11. Changes and disputes

We may update this Agreement as law, products, and services change. We will notify material changes appropriately and obtain renewed agreement where required.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. The parties should first seek an amicable resolution; otherwise, either party may use a court with lawful jurisdiction. Mandatory applicable law prevails.
